Part 1: The Basics

Ma's name is Hazel. Farmer's wife, Ah guess is the best job title, besides "Ma". She's real smart, real nice, kinda worries a bunch 'bout others, even if she should be worryin' 'bout herself. Ah got my hair from her Momma.
...My Papa's name was Rowan, like the tree. He was a farmer, like his Pa before him, an' before him. Real kind an' lovin'...he could be strict when Ah or my sisters needed it, but he doted on us a bit, too..Ah got my height an' such from him.
He...died February 2nd...this year was year eleven...

Yup, got five of 'em: two sisters, triplet brothers, all younger than me. Poppy's 15, an' she's real good at needlepoint. She's seein' a fella back in Ohma. Betony's 13, she likes ridin' the horses a bit, but she's kinda girly. The triplets are Rowan, Reed, an' Sage, they turned 11 in October. Kinda the troublemakin' sort, but they're good boys, they're learnin' to farm good, an' Ah taught 'em some fightin'.

Uh, back home, Melior, with my family. Here, Ah live in the Commune, with Maebhrin. Kinda a little cottage, but we're gonna build onto it soon. Mae's an elf originally, so she's older, but it don't feel like it. Feels like she's 'bout my age, Ah guess, the way we get along. Real nice, strong, good at herbs an' such. We look out for each other, like sisters should.

Even though Ah'm our main farmer at the Commune, Ah'd say Soldier, too. Ah do a bunch of odd jobs 'bout Ponyville, too. Oh, an' Ah'm teachin' at the Dojo, too.

Human...Ah'm taller than most o'the fellas back in Ohma. Brom's an exception. Ah...don't know exactly how tall, though. Crimean Imperial ain't the same as American Imperial or what they use here in Equestria. Ah'm pretty light, Ah guess. Most of me's muscle. Race? Uh..Beorc. Ya'd know that as 'Human', though. My hair's longer an' straighter, the same color as it is here, as are my eyes. So uh, somepony called my hair 'emerald' so Ah'll go with that, an' my eyes are teal, an' it depends on the light if they look more green or blue, 'parently. Ah dressed in comfy stuff that Ah could move easy in, an' carry stuff in or work in, when Ah weren't in my armor. No tattoos, buncha scars...war does that, as does farmin'.
Pony, Ah'm fairly tall Ah guess, still mostly muscle. Ah don't gotta clue what shade o'blue Ah am, it's almost the same color as my Sentinel armor, though. Nephie..for the love of bob, learn not to be so damned stubborn. Learn to like yourself more. You bring a lot to the table, even if you don't think so often, and you work to better yourself, but you have a long way to go. You know you need to believe in the people who care about you, and there are a lot of those, frakking act on it more. And above all, learn to relax. You never completely relax, mentally or physically...and on that note, stop worrying so much.

Ah go walkin', or readin'. Baths sometimes help. If all else fails, bakin'.

Get up before sunrise, eat a little, do some chores. Go runnin' with Morgan, then do farm work. Ah train with folks some...after midday is when Ah tend to do classes, after lunch. Evening is usually free time? It depends on the day a little.

Nephie..for the love of bob, learn not to be so damned stubborn. Learn to like yourself more. You bring a lot to the table, even if you don't think so often, and you work to better yourself, but you have a long way to go. You know you need to believe in the people who care about you, and there are a lot of those, frakking act on it more. And above all, learn to relax. You never completely relax, mentally or physically...and on that note, stop worrying so much.
